I Found Dinosaurs!

The WINs moved next to Green River Campground in Dinosaur National Monument. It's a gorgeous campground, right along the Green River.

There I am in the middle.

We had some friendly deer come through the campground.

Our first outing was to the Visitors Center at Dinosaur NM and the "Wall of Bones."

Here you can view more than 1500 partially exposed dinosaur bones.

This one is even smiling!

A complete dinosaur put together -

And getting the WINs together is just as difficult...

The next day we went on a trip to the Josie Morris Cabin. We had a little traffic jam along the way.

And saw some more petroglyphs.

Here's the cabin of Josie Morris. Nobody knows for sure how many husbands she had or how many outlaws she befriended. But she was definitely one of the most colorful characters of the time.

And there was rusty stuff around!

On the way home, we stopped to see Split Mountain, formed by the Green River.

A lot of Rock Peckers have been at work here...

  1. I think I'd be a little bit afraid of those Rock Peckers! :cO
