Walking Tour of San Miguel

But first a look at this beautiful house that we rented in San Miguel!

Take a look at that staircase -

And the view from the balcony on the roof!

There is a Historical Walking Tour offered in town 3 times a week. The others had already taken the tour, so I went by myself. Of course, a lot of the tour centers around the many beautiful churches in town. This is the inside of the main cathedral, the main focal point of the city.

We learned that this statue of Christ is from the 1500s!

We saw lots of churches, and I think this one was my favorite interior.

I don't know the names, so this will be just pictures.

The pigeons were very affectionate with the statues.

Another church -

Another church -

And one more!

We also met the local bull -

And saw the very first gas pump.

The tour ended in Plaza Civica.

On another day we went to the plant sale in the local park.

There was a blessing by a priest, and then some good music.

We took quite a few trips to the local "Walmart," aka La Comer. Huge!

But we also ate out quite a bit. This avocado dip was fantastic!
