One Last Missoula Post
There's even more to see in Missoula! One day we went to the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula.
We toured most of the many buildings that are part of the museum. They even had a model train we could play with!
Then we headed out to see the outdoor exhibits. I was distracted once again...
But our timing was off. We should have done the outdoors first, because it started pouring. But we still saw quite a bit.
On the Fourth of July, Cindy took us on a great hike.
I got this shot down the hill of an RV with the ultimate towed vehicle. I was so jealous!
What goes up eventually comes back down.
Distracted again, this time by a salsify seed.
And across the river was an eagle's nest! It's hard to see, but there are 3 eagles in the picture.
After our climb up and down the hill, we took the flat way back, on the old railroad bed. The tunnel was closed off (there was a path around), but some of our group went through and crawled under the fence to get out. We're such rule breakers!
After the hike, we went to see the Natural Pier Bridge over the river.
We even drove across it!
Good job! Look both ways!
