Parking in Parker

After Quartzsite, the WINs and I moved on to Parker. The best thing we did while there was a hike in Buckskin Mountain State Park. It was marked as "easy," and started out right along the Colorado River.

That rating was probably provided by a 20-year-old, because it quickly started going uphill.

Up and down and up and down...

We found several old mines -

Where's the gold?

Looking down on the Colorado River.

Afterwards, we went to the Visitor Center, where they had some really cool RUSTY STUFF!

While in Parker, we had the Super Blue Blood Moon, the Lunar Eclipse. Very difficult to photograph because it was so dark.

And then another good night at a great stop!
