I'm Baaaaack!

After a pretty boring winter, where I was not inspired to blog, I'm finally back to traveling. My first stop was Sedona. I decided to spend some big bucks while there and go on an exciting day trip. This plane was the first leg.

The plane will hold 9 passengers, plus the pilot, but there were only 2 couples and myself on this flight.

Taking off from the Sedona Airport, there are some great views.

We're headed northwest, in the direction of Las Vegas, but stopping short of there.

My first view of the Colorado River in the western section of the Grand Canyon, in the Hualapai Indian Reservation.

There's one of our destinations.

First we have to land at the West Grand Canyon Airport.

But not so fast! Before we see all the stuff on the rim, we board a helicopter -

And descend down into the canyon.

Our landing spot is just ahead.

Whew! Made it!

We've gone down 3500' in just a few minutes.

Now on the the next phase of the trip. See those boats down there?

To be continued...
