Day 2 - At Sea

In addition to the Society Islands of French Polynesia, our cruise goes to 2 of the Cook Islands. This requires a day at sea, both coming and going.

We have a very nice room on Deck 7, near the back of the ship. This picture is taken into the mirror, the only way to get a shot. There is lots of storage spots (always appreciated by an RVer.)

I love the balcony -this is the first cruise I have been on where I had one.

The room even has a hat rack! Well, not sure that's what it's supposed to be, but it works...

There are 3 restaurants on the ship, all very fancy. We go to Le Grille for breakfast and lunch, where they have a huge buffet. Dinner is at L'Etoile, where you get a 7 course meal.

There are lots of presentations on the ship, especially on "at sea" days. This is a demonstration of how to cut up a moon fish.

And of course we had to have the life boat drill -

After which, there was a seminar about the Titanic...
