I drove the car over to San Diego to celebrate Christmas with the Grandkids (and their parents, of course...)
Cookie decorating was first on the list.
Do you think Mara might take after her Grandma a little?
Finally, Christmas Eve arrived.
The kids left cookies and milk for Santa, plus 9 carrots, one for each of the reindeer. Gee, we never used to leave carrots for the reindeer, but now it seems like everyone does. I just hope they don't get too fat to fly...
The present opening on Christmas morning went so fast I barely had time to get any pictures. Mara got her long-awaited Wii.
And Jonathan was pretty happy with his Battleship game.
Santa seems to have made a slight boo-boo, but Jonathan fixed it right up.
I hope everyone had a great Christmas, and I wish you all a very Happy New Year!
Next up - what I spent this year - down to the penny!
Great looking grandkids. It's nice that you got to spend Christmas with family. I bet they enjoy reading your blog too.

Your grand kids are so cute!!! It's nice you were able to spend Christmas with them, I'm sure they loved it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics, beautiful family! Would love to see some of you too. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteJust love your grandson's big, cheesy grin. My grandson does the same thing any time someone points a camera at him. Looks like you all had a really great Christmas together.
ReplyDeleteThe very best way to spend Christmas:)
ReplyDeletelove the shot of Mara taking a picture of the cookies..now there is a blogger in the making!!!
ReplyDeleteYou have lovely grandkids! But I think Jonathan needs to eat lots of those Christmas cookies so he won't look like he's all bones...
ReplyDeleteHNY Diana. What a fun Christmas for you and all. Jonathan looks like you. The whole looks like Christmas anywhere USA. We never thought of the poor reindeer either! Been checking in on you now and then but until today have been discouraged about my future rving prospects. Seeing your expenditures is going to help too.

Oh, man! We're in San Diego! You missed out on a potential follow-up Ayo-led yoga on the beach with Bree, who is here as well :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat looking grandkids! Not surprising considering who their Grandmother is!! Sold house. Getting excited about retiring. Hope to see you on road!!
