Does it get any better than this? When we were planning this trip around the Eastern US, I thought it would be a great idea to go on a cruise out of Tampa. Six of us signed up for a 7-day cruise aboard the Norwegian Star. Getting on board was a little hectic, but it was smooth sailing after that.
WOW! That's a big ship!
Leaving the Tampa port, the police escorted us out, past some wonderfully painted tanks.
Manatee, turtles, and dolphin -
Flamingos, pelicans, and eagles.
Past a boat yard.
Even the Directv blimp was there to see us off!
The first day was "at sea," and the view looked like this. We were lucky, the sea was very calm.
We went by quite a few cargo ships.
And we met the captain... Wait! Who's driving the ship?
That night was the first of many towel creations -
And a beautiful sunset!
