Bucket List Item Checked Off!

I have always wanted to go on a hot air balloon ride, and while we were in San Miguel, 3 of us decided to do just that! We got picked up at our house VERY early -

And were taken to a lot where we watched the balloon being inflated.

Almost there!

And we're off!

Unfortunately, as soon as we got off the ground, we got into the clouds.

Pretty soon we couldn't see anything! We were starting to think we wasted our money...

But then - all of a sudden we were above the clouds -

And the sun came up! WOW!

After that surprise, we went back down through the clouds so we could see the city -

With all its beautiful churches.

We got quite low, and all the dogs were barking at us.

We also got a look at the colorful houses here.

I tried a panorama with my phone.

We went over the bull ring in town.

After awhile, it was time to look for a place to land. Kind of hard in a busy city.

The pilot decided on this spot, and the crew got underneath us and pulled us down with a rope.

We made it!

Then we got to see the crew get the balloon uninflated and folded up.

Then it was off to breakfast!

It was a great experience!
