I am looking for a megazoom compact (at least 10x zoom, preferably more), but I'm having a hard time finding one with the options that I want. Such as: I'd prefer one that has a RAW format, and AA batteries instead of the rechargeable Li-Ion. Do you happen to know of any like that?
Thanks,
Brad
PS, you don't need to post this on the blog, and my email is bradleymac222@gmail.com.TravelTurtleStylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17403812759681779466noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5988186310250612269.post-47284380212758763362012-02-25T19:36:46.836-07:002012-02-25T19:36:46.836-07:00I love my new Nikon Coolpix S9100 with the 18x zoo...I love my new Nikon Coolpix S9100 with the 18x zoom lens. That's all I use, I'm not at all trained in photography, and it's easy to use. I still have my old Kodak DX3600. It's a point and shoot, too, but I wanted more zoom.

You have a good collection, and take really good, clear photos. :)Barbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16516591720277269204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5988186310250612269.post-88683648765209778952012-02-23T20:19:17.425-07:002012-02-23T20:19:17.425-07:00Quite a collection Diane...leaving on Tuesday the ...Quite a collection Diane...leaving on Tuesday the 28th!RiverCathttp://www.theramblinrivercat.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5988186310250612269.post-24452820357563451782012-02-23T15:35:59.388-07:002012-02-23T15:35:59.388-07:00The pocket cameras are getting better every year. ...The pocket cameras are getting better every year. When I replaced the Canon G10, I sold the underwater camera casing back to B&H since it didn't fit the G12. I've heard good things about the D10 you have, so maybe another camera will be added to our collection :-)Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08333995679958103393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5988186310250612269.post-20383666310189886332012-02-22T06:32:07.146-07:002012-02-22T06:32:07.146-07:00I'm "so" looking forward to getting ...I'm "so" looking forward to getting back into my photography hobby when I retire. Two years ago when I lost my Canon P&S to the Indian Ocean I replaced it with what I could afford in South Africa, a Fujifilm Finepix S1500 with 12x. Now I've been looking at the Nikon SLRs.
