Back in Cowboy Country

Spring is in the air, and it's time to head north to the All-Singles Dance Rally in Bandera, TX.

Going north, we went through a busy immigration inspection station. They did all this just since the beginning of the year!

The Texas Bluebonnets are out in force this year, with all the rain they've had.

Once I get to Bandera, I plan to head to the Hill Country on a day trip to see what I can find.

The first night in Bandera was the Wednesday "Burn Your Own" at the 11th Street Cowboy Bar.

Phil and I shared a table with our friends Bob and Donna.

We all brought our own meat and cooked it on these huge grills. After we were done, the owner of the club came out and put his dinner on.

I wish he'd adopt me!

We had a great time dancing the night away.

  4. Tell Phil to enjoy it while he can before his breakfast responsibilities kick in. Amazing how those bluebonnets look like lupine.

  5. Love reading your Blogs. Especially the dancing. I would LOVE to learn the country dances and have thought about going to take lessons at the fire hall when they offer them but never had the nerve.

Love the scenery shots. I envy you the freedom to do as you please. I just paid the property taxes and it always makes me a little restless. lol Have fun - hope to see you soon.
